Bosse

Live 2022

Infos zu Bosse

At 17 Axel Bosse and his band Hyperchild got their first record deal with a major label. And although the band already managed to enter the charts with their first single, the break came after 2 years: creative differences.

For Bosse, who grew up in the Braunschweig suburbs, the break from his band was also the starting point of his solo career. Already his solo debut Kamikazazeherz from 2005 was looking for the really big headlights and worked on big stages as support bands for Such a Surge, Madsen or Mando Diao. The following albums followed: Guten Morgen, Spinner (2006), Taxi (2009) and 2011 then Wartesaal. With the 4th studio album Bosse stayed for the first time for several weeks in the German LP-Charts and climbed up to number 16 in the charts. Two albums later, with Engtanz (2016), on which he worked with Casper among others, and Alles ist jetzt (2018), he was able to reach the top of the German charts for the first time and stayed in the charts for 25 weeks.

But what is much more important than sales figures: During his solo career the musician managed to become one of the most established and recognized live artists. No matter if at the biggest festivals, like Rock am Ring/Rock im Park, Hurricane/Southside, Highfield or Deichbrand, in front of more than 13.000 fans at his own open air concert at the Hamburg trotting track, in front of more than 100.000 visitors on the tour to his last album or if he sells out club concerts within two minutes: BOSSE is a magnet. Not only musically.

It is above all his attitude and credibility that creates identification. In his strict and loud position against any right-wing Germanicism and any National Socialist ideas. In his commitment and support for various NGOs.
