Scooter was founded in 1993 and is still one of the most successful bands in the field of electronic dance music. So far the band around singer H.P. Baxxter has sold over 30 million records.

The big breakthrough came in May 1994 with the single "Hyper Hyper". The song came in 2nd place in Germany and Austria, reached 3rd place in Switzerland and even 1st place in Italy.
