Chris de Burgh

After his successful solo tour in summer 2018, Chris de Burgh will again be on tour with his band in 2019. In the program the band around the Irish frontman has something special: de Burgh will play two of his top albums (one from the early, the other from the later creative phase) on stage of the Barclaycard Arena Hamburg completely: "Into The Light" and "Moonfleet & Other Stories". 

Chris de Burgh will perform with his proven companions, keyboarder Nigel Hopkins, Dave Levy (bass), ex-Robbie-Williams guitarist Neil Taylor plus drummer Phil Groyssboeck. The concerts will focus on two of his 21 studio recordings since 1974: On the one hand "Into The Light" (1986), which is not only the superseller par excellence in his career, but also the hit classic "The Lady In Red" (number 1 in 47 countries as well as one of the world's most played radio titles!) as the most internationally successful singer/songwriter; on the other hand "Moonfleet & Other Stories" from 2010 - the CD that de Burgh (50 million sold records worldwide!) enjoyed most when composing and recording. Both works will be presented in their entirety on stage. To realize such a project is new territory for Chris de Burgh even after more than 3,000 concerts.
